League of Extraordinary Champions

A man whose life of discipline, resolve, passion, and integrity is an inspiration to us all.  We are beyond proud to introduce to you our Surgeon General, Dr. res med Ivan Drmić, Leading Head Physician for Internal Medicine at the Franziskus Hospital in Vienna, Austria.

Dr. Icvan Drmić earned his medical doctor twice (!), once in Former Yugoslavia and then again in Austria, after his emigration. He holds the position of Leading Head Physician of the Department for Internal Medicine at the Franziskusspital (est. AD 1709), one of the oldest hospitals in Vienna, Austria.

He started his career as Military Surgeon in the Yugoslavian Army and was the first physician to resign in protest of the Invasion of Croatia. He proceeded to treat wounded Croatian freedom fighters from Vukovar and other battlefields. 

His official title in the Society of the Cross and Rose is Surgeon General and Knight of Virtuousness.

Dr. Ivan Drmic has helped countless people, both in his work as a doctor and through charitable giving and help to his country in our darkest hour and ever since. Few of us will be able to catch him, the rest of us shall follow in his footsteps.

The paths of Dr. Ivan Drmic and the Society of Cross and Rose crossed decades ago and the Almighty wove our fates and lives together over and over. From his birthplace in Vitez ("knight" in Croatian), to his time in Sarajevo, his military career, and then his time in Vienna. 

God makes no mistakes.
